Enrollment
Children’s Center of Lexington is the right choice for
families on the go.
We understand the needs of working parents, recognize how hectic
home life can be, and strive to accommodate a variety of schedules.
We operate from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., with both full-day and
partial-day options. Our doors stay open throughout the year—not just from September to June.
Whether you need placement for a single child or siblings,
give us a call or come visit.
Admissions
Interested parents submit an
application form with a $75 fee. When an opening becomes available, the Center will request a $200 security deposit
and a non-refundable payment applied to the child’s first month’s tuition. Parents meet with the Director before enrollment, to communicate information about their child and to learn
about the Center’s policies. We invite
parents and children to visit the Center before the first day of school, to meet the staff and help smooth the transition
into a new school. Click here to download Adobe Acrobat Reader.

Schedules
The Center offers three options: half-days (8 a.m. to 1 p.m.);
¾ days (8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.); and full days (8 a.m. to 6 p.m.). There are a limited number of half-day slots. If space is
available, we can offer parents occasional longer hours or extra days, billed at the current hourly rate. If necessary, parents
may arrange for child care between 7:30 a.m. and 8 a.m.
Families may also choose from two, three or five days
per week.
The Center closes at 6 p.m.
Holidays
The Center is closed for national holidays, for one professional
development day and for three clean-up days at the end of the summer.
Tuition The Center sends out bills on the 15th of the month and
payment is due by the first of every month. If it is more convenient, parents may pay tuition quarterly or semi-annually.
In cases of financial difficulty, it is possible to arrange an alternative payment schedule. The Center also assesses an annual
liability insurance fee for each child.
Financial Aid
We recognize that some parents may require assistance to cope
with the high costs of quality child care. The Center financial aid fund can help families throughout the year, or through
a short-term stretch of difficulty. Typically, the Center provides aid to between four and 10 families per year. Aid applications
and information are kept completely confidential.
